Inanimate Dissection 2006
The video begins with the wax dissection tray, void of a specimen, centered on a lab table. A short, four-minute segment has been selected from the middle of the procedure and is presented in real-time, providing an accurate account of the process applied to the subject. The perspective is a cropped bird’s-eye-view; capturing only the dissector’s latex covered hands, the tools used and the specimen itself.
