A life-size autopsy table measuring nearly nine feet long by three feet wide sits in an otherwise empty room. Appearing authentic, the table is constructed of stainless steel and chrome-plated found components. Situated atop the medical table where a cadaver would normally reside, lies a disemboweled recliner. A clear, viscous solution crawls over the recliner’s surface and forms in puddles on the tabletop. Taking approximately fifty-five minutes, the medical procedure performed was documented from an off-center overhead view. This footage is projected at a larger-than-life scale adjacent to the recliner, presenting its systematic deconstruction..
